The Racine Zoo's educational mission is to provide Zoo guests with an understanding and awareness of threatened and endangered animals and conservation of their ecosystems. We will accomplish this through our partnered commitment with accredited zoos around the world, promoting positive attitudes that benefit the biodiversity of life on our planet. As an educational resource, it is our hope that the citizens of Racine and area communities will foster an appreciation for our natural world, ultimately giving them the ability to make informed decisions that will protect it from exploitation and for the benefit of future generations.
