Official Rules

(November 5, 2007 to November 30, 2007)

1. Preliminary Information: No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of the United States. Contest begins Monday, November 5 at 9:00 am and ends Friday, November 30 at 5:00 pm. All times in the contest refer to Central Standard Time.

2. To Enter: Go to one of nine Racine, Wisconsin area Johnson Bank locations to obtain and submit an entry blank. Entry blanks are also available periodically in The Journal Times and at the Racine Zoo office at 200 Goold Street, Racine, WI, 53402. Entry blanks can be obtained at www.racinezoo.org. Entry blanks obtained can be submitted at any of the nine area Johnson Bank location or dropped off or mailed to the Racine Zoo office at 200 Goold Street, Racine, WI 53402. Mailed entries are only valid if there is one entry blank per envelope.

Entries will be judged by the Racine Zoo, Johnson Bank and/or The Journal Times. The judges reserve the right to select one winning entry of four names, four winning entries of one name each or any combination, thereof. The decision of the judges is final. The Racine Zoo retains final rights to name selection. Contestants may submit entries once per day during the sweepstakes period. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or mutilated are void and will not be accepted. All entries become property of the Racine Zoo and will not be acknowledged or returned. Mail in entries must be received by Friday, November 30, 2007 in order to be eligible.

3. Selection of Winners and Eligibility: One winning entry of four names, four winning entries of one name each or any combination, thereof, will make up the winning contestant pool. Winning contestants will be contacted via phone on Friday, November 30, 2007 after 5:00 pm. By entering the contest, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the judges, whose decisions are binding and final. Winner will be required to make his/her/their likeness and names available for use by The Racine Zoo, Johnson Bank and The Journal Times for promotional purposes. Employees of The Racine Zoo are not eligible.

4. Prize: Each contestant whose lion cub suggested name is chose by the judges will receive a prize package including a prize basket, gift certificate and bond from the Racine Zoo, a gift certificate for dinner at Salute from The Journal Times and a savings bond from Johnson Bank. The number of prize packages awarded is based on the number of winning entries. If one winning entry is selected that includes four names, one prize package will be awarded. If four winning entries are selected that each include one winning name, then four prize packages will be awarded. And so forth, the Racine Zoo reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal value at its sole discretion. All taxes and all other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. This prize cannot be transferred by winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the services detailed above, with no substitution of prize by winner. In the event that any prize is forfeited or unclaimed, the prizes will not be awarded.

5. Disclaimer: Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by his/her/their participation in the contest and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize and release and hold harmless the Racine Zoo, Johnson Bank and The Journal Times, their respective officers, directors and employees from any such liability. The Racine Zoo, Johnson Bank and The Journal Times and their respective officers, directors, employees and subsidiaries and affiliates assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person resulting from obtaining or submitting entries for this contest. The Racine Zoo, Johnson Bank and The Journal Times are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures or mail delivery failure of any kind, for inaccurate transcriptions of entry information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, errors in these rules, or for any human or electronic error or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or postage due. Entry constitutes permission to use winner´s name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensations.

6. Winner Announcement: Winner announcements will be made at the Racine Zoo between 10:00 am and 12:00pm on Saturday, December 1, 2007.
